Darren Parker

Director

Darren has been the Managing Director of Skyzer since its inception in 2007 and has over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of the payments industry. He has extensive experience in banking, acquiring, terminal development, and deployment, as well as a focus on commercial and strategic matters. Darren’s passion is delivering a seamless payment experience to our customers with a goal of “Making Payments Simple”. Prior to Skyzer, Darren worked for a major terminal vendor.

Travis Barnhill

General Manager

Travis started with Skyzer, April 2010 as Reseller Manager and was appointed as General Manager in April 2016. He has been involved with payments and Point of Sale technology for over 20+ years. Travis also has 15+ years’ experience working with dealer channels with technology and enjoys the challenges that it offers.

Helen Mackeson-Smith

Human Resources Manager

Over 20 years, our HR Manager Helen, has led teams through significant HRIS implementations, payroll platform deployments, policy rewrites and improvements, and many periods of organisational change and uncertainty. She’s worked with some of the world’s leading organisations in financial services and Fintech, including Morgan Stanley, ANZ, Schroders, Royal Bank of Scotland, Fiserv and now Skyzer. She is passionate about unleashing people’s potential and her superpower is her world-class pragmatism.

Steve Nemeth

Corporate Sales Manager

Steve joined the Skyzer Payments team in November 2018 and is responsible for building and developing Skyzer Payments Corporate portfolio with a specific focus on medium to large New Zealand retailers. Prior to joining Skyzer Payments, Steve held a number of senior roles in the banking industry. Steve is passionate about building long-term value-added relationships with his clients, strategic partners, and works to ensure that we deliver great customer outcomes for our clients and business partners.

Belinda Garty

Corporate Accounts Manager

Having 11 years’ experience in the payment industry as a Corporate Account Manager working with high-level merchants, banks and third-party providers Belinda is passionate about making sure we deliver world-class service to our customers and business partners. She has the ability to build great rapport, understand the needs of our customers, and delivers outcomes that ensure we keep our promise of “Making Payments Simple”.

Gareth Lees

Technical Support Manager

Gareth joined Skyzer Payments in June 2018 and is responsible for providing our customers with technical support for their terminals. With 17 years of experience in the IT industry, supporting customers remotely and in person, Gareth has developed a strong customer focus in his support approach, backed up with skills and knowledge on a range of hardware/software.
